Sales Manager
The
Sales Manager ensures that the dealership meets its unit sales quotas and its
gross objectives on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis. S/he will ensure that
the retail and fleet units sold produce sufficient gross to aid the dealership
in reaching its profit objective on a monthly and yearly basis. S/he will
accomplish these objectives through planning, organizing, coordinating, and measuring
the activities of the New- and Used-vehicle Sales Departments.

Sales Associate
The vehicle salesperson is responsible for selling vehicles and meeting dealership gross profit, volume and customer satisfaction standards. This position includes four broad areas of activity: personal work habits, prospecting, selling, and follow-up.

Service Manager
The Service Director is responsible for running an efficient and profitable service department. He/She will operate the department at maximum production, controlling costs, building a loyal clientele, maintaining good employee relationships, setting and obtaining sales and profit objectives, and maintaining service records.

Service Advisor
The Service Advisor is responsible for scheduling service work in the service department and for selling additional needed service to customers. Maintains Customer Satisfaction Index rating at least comparable to that of the manufacturer, zone or branch average.

Service Technician
The Service Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. S/he also will oversee the work of any apprentice technician assigned to him/her.

Porter
The Service Greeter/Porter is responsible for moving service customer vehicles to ensure smooth and efficient traffic flow through the facility and increase customer convenience and maintaining an orderly service parking area.

Parts Manager
The Parts Manager strives to return a satisfactory profit on dealer capital invested in parts inventory. They will accomplish objectives through the use of proper purchasing procedures, inventory control, staff utilization, security, pricing, merchandising, displaying, and advertising.

Parts Counterperson
The Parts Counterperson sells, at retail, parts to all available customers, over the counter, through the shop, or on the phone. Assist walk-in customers in selecting required parts, suggest companion requirements, offer specials, and ensure that the customer is exposed to the full product line.

Receptionists
The Receptionist is the first contact to greet visitors by phone and in person. The Receptionist will primarily answer a multi-line telephone system and greet visitors in a timely, pleasant, and professional manner and provide information and assistance to other departments as needed.

Cashier
The cashier receives cash from customers and employees in payment for goods and services and records the amount received in an accurate manner. He/she is sometimes the customer's last contact with the dealership and therefore, must represent the dealership in a friendly, professional manner. The cashier provides assistance to the accounting office as directed on an individual task basis.
