Performance
Numerous powertrains are offered across the trim lineup for the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE. The base trim will impress you with its 255-horsepower, four-cylinder, 2.0-liter system. At the top end of the spectrum, the GLE offers a handcrafted V8, 4.0-liter system with 603 horsepower. A plug-in hybrid system with an all-electric range of roughly 30 miles is also available. The GLS has enhanced output from its two primary engines. The turbo V6 now produces 375 horsepower, and the turbo V8 system gives you 510 horsepower.
Appearance
The 2024 GLE has exquisite styling with chiseled, linear accents flowing confidently over the hood and contoured doors. The headlights are captivating, with staggered, segmented LED bars at the top and bottom. These headlights flank the sophisticated, bar-style grille and top the powerful air intakes. The 2024 GLS has a refreshed style with a tall stance, slightly squared-off fenders, and re-contoured door panels. The nose also has a new look, with horizontal bars on the grille and a black outline surrounding the bumper and air vents. The headlights show off a sweeping LED bar that wraps around the three smaller LED components.
Features
The GLE and GLS for 2024 are spectacularly outfitted with many comparable features. These include a voice-activated assistant, wireless smart device connections, a 360-degree camera, a navigation system with augmented reality, a digital instrumentation screen for the driver's gauges, leather upholstery, a 64-color ambient light system, heated and ventilated seats with massage functions, a premium sound system and others. The GLS also offers an upgraded sound system, a fragrance system, wireless chargers in both rows, a tablet controller for the second row, an upgraded climate control system, and several other features.
