Performance
The most significant differences between these options are found under the hood. The EQE 350 is the base trim level. It has a single-motor design with rear-wheel drive and employs 288 horsepower. The EQE 500 4MATIC® is the mid-level trim option. It gives you a dual-motor design with 4MATIC® all-wheel drive and produces 402 combined horsepower. The AMG® EQE also has dual motors with 4MATIC® all-wheel drive and can generate 617 horsepower with considerably more torque. It also has optional carbon-ceramic brakes and an air suspension system.
Appearance
The EQE sedan is almost identical to the AMG® EQE sedan. However, the AMG® EQE has a few badging elements and sportier design touches. Both versions of the EQE have a glossy black grille with vertical bars. The hexagonal shape of the grille is accentuated by pointed, LED-marked headlights and lower air vents that point inward dramatically. The EQE also has a strong slope down the hood and a prominent arch across the roofline. The sides are smooth, with an athletic definition line supporting the door panels.
Features
Across all EQE trim levels for 2023, you will find a modern dashboard that features a Hyperscreen. The Hyperscreen wraps across the entire dashboard length and includes displays for the driver, the passenger, and the center stack. The EQE has leather material, and the AMG® EQE adds touches of suede and contrast stitching for distinction. The AMG® version also has a premium sound system. At various trim levels, this model comes with smart device integration, a navigation system, eye movement tracking, lane-keeping assistance, frontal collision mitigation, a push-button ignition, and other equipment.
