What's New for the 2025 Mercedes-Benz S-Class?
The 2025 Mercedes-Benz S-Class is the pinnacle of automotive excellence. This flagship sedan benefits from several updates that combine to elevate your driving experience to new heights. These updates extend to the exterior, features, and optional packages.
The S-Class is now available on the exterior with two new paint colors. These are Sonoran Brown and New Verde Silver. They replace a few outgoing colors, including Onyx Black and Mojave Silver. The sophisticated style is otherwise unchanged. The S-Class is poignantly styled with low ground clearance and an elegant, flowing profile. The smooth side contouring is enhanced by a crisp, lower element that angles slightly as it approaches the rear fender. The wide grille is accented with chrome and a large Mercedes-Benz logo. The headlights are outlined with LED lighting for a dramatic touch. If you select the Luxury or Executive trim levels, you can now add the AMG® Line package. The AMG® Line includes special exterior styling, individualized 19-inch wheels, and floor mats.
The four S-Class trim levels for 2025 each have a different powertrain. The S 500 4MATIC® sedan comes with an inline-six, turbo 3.0-liter, 442-horsepower engine. The S 580 4MATIC® sedan is equipped with a V8, turbo 4.0-liter, 496-horsepower system. The S 580e 4MATIC® model is a plug-in hybrid sedan that comes with an electric motor and a turbo V8. Its combined horsepower is 503, and its all-electric range is 47 miles. These 3 models all come standard with 4MATIC® all-wheel drive. The AMG® S 63 E PERFORMANCE Sedan is the top trim level, and it also has a plug-in hybrid engine with a V8 engine. It produces 791 horsepower and has a 16-mile all-electric range. This model comes standard with AMG® Performance 4MATIC+® all-wheel drive.
Inside the cabin, you can now enjoy a four-zone climate control system as a stand-alone upgrade. Previously, it was only available with an optional package. Some of the many features offered in the 2025 S-Class are a premium 4D surround-system system, an augmented reality head-up display, heated and massaging seats in the front and rear rows, front and rear wireless device charging, a rear infotainment system tablet, natural speech recognition voice commands, powered sunshades, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, a 12.8-inch OLED touch display screen, and many other features.
