 What's New for the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC?
The luxurious Mercedes-Benz GLC benefited from an impressive refresh in 2023 when its second generation debuted. As a result, only a few meaningful updates are introduced for the 2024 GLC. The feature availability now includes standard satellite radio for all trim levels. In addition, three fresh paint colors are available: Patagonia Red Metallic, Moonlight White Metallic, and Graphite Gray Magna. For drivers who have a next-level driving experience in mind, the GLC is now available with an AMG® high-performance trim level.
The facade of the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC has a smooth look with a rolling profile and slight swells over the doors. The sides also show off a molded ledge on the lower door panels and a captivating wheel design. The grille commands most of the space on the nose. It is styled with starlight mesh, a large Mercedes-Benz logo, and a unique horizontal crossbar. On the angled, tapered headlights, you will find a solid LED bar mounted over a second sectioned LED bar. Exterior features available in the 2024 GLC are 18-inch wheels, rain-sensing wipers, and a power liftgate. The AMG® trim level is available with optional packages that add black trim or carbon-fiber trim, a front splitter, special badging, and a rear diffuser.
If you opt for the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300, your crossover SUV will be powered by a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbo engine. This is a rear-wheel drive vehicle that benefits from 255 horsepower, and 4MATIC® all-wheel drive is optional. A high-performance version of this powertrain is in the AMG® GLC 43, producing 416 horsepower. AMG® Performance 4MATIC® all-wheel drive is standard for this trim. Both trim levels have a nine-speed auto transmission and mild-hybrid tech.
The GLC is well-appointed across its trims, and optional packages are available as well. Entry-level features are three USB-C ports, synthetic leather upholstery, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, an 11.9-inch touch display screen, heated front seats, a wireless charging pad, forward collision mitigation, wireless smartphone app connections, and more. Other available features in the higher trim levels and optional packages are a premium sound system, a surround-view camera, a navigation system, a head-up display, speed limit assist, rear collision prep, lane change assist, a flat-bottom steering wheel, synthetic suede upholstery two household power outlets, and additional features.
