 What's New for the 2024 Mercedes-Benz C-Class?
The Mercedes-Benz C-Class is a small, sporty sedan packed with refined features. In 2023, the C-Class was available with coupe and convertible body styles as well as the four-door design. The coupe and convertible options will be discontinued in 2024 and replaced with the Mercedes-Benz CLE Coupe and CLE Cabriolet.
There are a few other updates introduced in the 2024 Mercedes-Benz C-Class. All trims now have SiriusXM satellite radio, a wireless smartphone charging station, and parking sensors as standard features in 2024. These features join many others that are offered in the 2023 C-Class. Its entry-level features are wireless smartphone connectivity, heated front seats, a hands-free power trunk lid, keyless entry, synthetic leather upholstery, an 11.9-inch touch display screen, a digital instrument panel, a drowsy driver monitor, and a safe exit system. Select or all higher trim levels add a four-zone climate control system, a dashcam, leather upholstery, blind-spot intervention, lane departure mitigation, a head-up display, a navigation system with an augmented reality overlay, and more.
This year's C-Class is unchanged from a design perspective. It has a strongly arched profile, slanted hood, and raked rear. The sides show off a hint of accentuation with upper and lower pinstripe accents. At the front, the 2024 C-Class displays a bold grille design with a horizontal chrome bar that draws attention to its width. The lower fascia is slender and connects directly with wide air inlets. An upper LED ribbon accompanies the small, angled headlights.
The three powertrains available in 2023 will continue to be offered in 2024. The entry-level engine is a 255-horsepower, four-cylinder unit. A turbocharged four-cylinder is the mid-range option, giving you 402 horsepower. At the top of the list is a plug-in hybrid four-cylinder system that is good for 671 total horsepower. 4MATIC® all-wheel drive is standard for the top two trim levels, and all trims come with a nine-speed auto transmission.
