 What's New for the 2023 EQS 450+ Sedan?
The all-electric EQ line from Mercedes-Benz grew in 2022 with the debut of the EQS sedan. This flagship sedan is designed as an EV version of the premium S-Class sedan. In 2023, the EQS Sedan will be available in four trim levels: the EQS 450+ Sedan, the EQS 450 4MATIC® Sedan, the EQS 580 4MATIC® Sedan, and the AMG® EQS Sedan. The base EQS 450+ Sedan is marvelously engineered and styled, bringing minor updates. For example, the vehicle's alert and notification sounds can now be customized. In addition, some of the features in the optional packages have been shuffled.
The engaging style of the 2023 EQS 450+ Sedan is unchanged. This elite EV has a strongly curved profile, a subtle, angled pinstripe on the sides, and two definition lines angled across the hood. The glossy black grille is dressed with vertical chrome bars and rolls effortlessly into the dramatic LED headlights. The flared definition on the front air vents adds an athletic touch.
The EQS 450+ Sedan features a rear-mounted, single-motor system. This model is rear-wheel drive. The battery's estimated range is 350 miles. All of the EQS 450+ Sedan's sub-trims come with an adaptive air suspension system.
The EQS 450+ Sedan is available in three sub-trim options. The base Premium trim comes with a panoramic glass roof, 20-inch wheels, heated seats, a power liftgate, a 12.8-inch infotainment system screen, wireless Android Auto® and Apple CarPlay®, a navigation system, a premium audio system, a surround-view camera, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping, evasive steering assistance, an automated parking system, and others. Higher-level trims and optional packages are offered with heated front and rear seats with massaging and memory functions, sports seats, a rear control tablet, sound-reducing glass, a heated windshield, a rear charging pad, and numerous additional features.
