What's New for the 2022 Mercedes-Benz CLS Coupe?
The Mercedes-Benz CLS is the four-door coupe that has been delighting McKinney’s drivers for years. Now that you are ready to make your next auto purchase, you may be wondering what updates Mercedes-Benz has made to this popular model. The CLS coupe’s third-generation broke ground in 2019, so the 2022 version is a mid-generation model. For 2022, Mercedes-Benz has raised the bar by transforming the exterior and touching strategic areas of the interior. Notably, the 2022 CLS coupe has a reshaped grille and bumper on the front end. The look includes a stretched, A-frame grille with a horizontal bar running across it for a clean look. The multi-elemental LED headlights flare off from the grille. They feature a pair of LED bulbs topped by a zagging LED light bar. Below these features, the lower fascia trends downward to highlight the car’s low profile and overall athleticism.
The interior also has a few updates for you to enjoy. For example, the steering wheel has a fresh look, adding capacitive sensors for improved functionality. These sensors work in conjunction with the driver’s aids so that you can operate the semi-autonomous driving modes more efficiently and effectively. If you add the mild-hybrid system to it, the horsepower rating jumps to 383. The AMG® version of the CLS benefits from a premium engine that puts out 429 horsepower. Many of the interior features are also untouched. These are smart device integration, a navigation system, a high-level sound system, leather material, and more.
