Performance
A great place to start your comparison of the GLB and GLE models is with a look at their base trims. The GLB 250 is powered by a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbo engine. This 221-horsepower system combines a dual-clutch, eight-speed automatic transmission, and front-wheel drive. The GLE 350 features a 255-horsepower, turbo four-cylinder engine. Both rear-wheel and 4MATIC® all-wheel drive are offered at this trim level.
Appearance
The 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLB 250 is a two-row model with a tall roofline to ensure ample space across the cabin. Its style is characterized by a short yet confident nose, almost-rectangular LED headlights, and a wide grille. The GLB 250 also has extensive body molding along the entire lower perimeter, and the sides are smoothly sculpted. The 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 is a longer vehicle with a raked rear. The smooth sculpting on the sides is modestly angled, and a sharp crease accompanies this. The wide grille sits above a sporty, barbell-like bumper. The headlights show off a pair of LED bars that point inward for a dramatic effect.
