Performance
You can enjoy a smooth, responsive ride in the 2025 GLE regardless of the trim level selected. However, these trims have separate powertrains. The GLE 350 is equipped with a four-cylinder, turbo gas engine that generates 255 horsepower. It features a nine-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. The GLE 450e 4MATIC®, on the other hand, is outfitted with a plug-in hybrid, turbo V6. This is a 381-horsepower system with an all-electric range of 49 miles. It comes with a 4MATIC® all-wheel drivetrain.
Appearance
With the exception of a charging port on the GLE 450e 4MATIC®, these two trim levels are identical on the exterior. The sophisticated design is established by elegant contours streaming across the sides. The arched roof is accompanied by a gracefully sloping hood featuring crisp definition lines. On the nose, the grille is styled with flared sides and a series of metallic columns. The grille is mounted above a slender grille. To the sides, triangular air inlets make a bold statement. The thick headlights add character to the GLE's front end with both LED bulbs and bars. These trim levels are both outfitted with 19-inch wheels and a power liftgate.
Features
The GLE is remarkably appointed with fine materials and advanced features across all trim levels. The GLE 350 and GLE 450e 4MATIC® both offer a blind-spot warning system, automatic braking, a forward collision sensor with accident avoidance, synthetic leather upholstery, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, a 12.3-inch infotainment system screen, Android Auto®, Apple CarPlay®, wireless charging, a two-zone auto climate control system, power-adjusting and heated front seats, a driver attention warning system, a surround-view camera, and parking sensors.
