The holidays are a great time to share dishes with friends and family, however without proper precautions, doing so can be messy. These tips should make it easier.
- Use pans and bowls with lids. Secure lids using a rubber band or two to hold the lid in place. This gives you a little extra security during the trip.
- Put trays of food in boxes to contain spills.
- Secure food trays in the storage area of your SUV.
- Place food items in the backseat, on the floor.
- Place padding around containers to keep them from banging into one another and to help keep the contents warm.
- Use insulated bags to keep hot food hot.
