Which Mercedes-EQ Electric Vehicles Are Coming to the U.S. Next?

2022 EQS

2022 EQS

The 2022 EQS is a flagship luxury electric sedan that wows drivers with both its performance, gorgeous appearance, and tech savvy interior. There are two EQS models currently available. The first is the EQS 450+, which comes with 329 horsepower. Sitting above it in the trim line is the EQS 580 4MATIC® which pumps out 516 horsepower. In addition to everything previously mentioned, you can also anticipate the EQS to come with Level 3 autonomous driving capabilities. A third model is planned which will be the Mercedes-AMG® EQS model, and it’s expected to generate 649 horsepower.

2023 EQE

2023 EQE

For the 2023 model year, another electric luxury sedan is planned, and it will be called the EQE. It will sit below the EQS in terms of size. The first model planned is the EQE 350 which is going to have 288 horsepower and rear-wheel drive. Additional models for the EQE are planned with details to come closer to the model’s launch.

EQB

If you’re looking for an electric luxury SUV, you’ll be happy to hear about the upcoming EQB. The EQB is expected to first launch for the 2023 model year, and there are two models planned currently, which will both offer 4MATIC® all-wheel drive. The first model is the EQB 300 4MATIC®, which will have 225 horsepower. Then, there’s also the EQB 350 4MATIC®, which will pump out 288 horsepower. A front-wheel drive option is expected to launch at a later date. While the EQB will seat five passengers, there will be an option to increase seating capacity to seven with a third row.

EQG Concept

EQG Concept

Finally, allow us to introduce you to the all-electric G-Wagon concept, which is named the EQG. This rugged two-row SUV is expected to have a separate electric motor driving each wheel. It also would come with a 2-speed shiftable gearbox for off-road driving. While this concept vehicle isn’t officially confirmed to go into production, some sources say drivers can expect it to launch for the 2024 model year.
