The Mercedes-EQ is Mercedes-Benz's all-electric line of cars and crossovers, and this line grows more impressive in 2022 with the introduction of the EQS. The EQS is a flagship electric luxury sedan that is aligned with the gas-powered S-Class. Two powertrain systems are available. The single-motor powertrain has a rear-mounted motor that produces 329 horsepower. A dual-motor option is also available. This is a 4MATIC® all-wheel drive system that produces 516 horsepower. The battery can take you 484 miles down the road on a full charge.
Throughout the interior and exterior, the 2022 EQS exudes luxury. The body is defined by a sultry profile and sleek surfaces with the perfect touch of crisp definition. The nose is rounded, and it has a Mercedes-EQ-specific grille with vertical parts. The grille rounds up to integrate seamlessly with the LED headlights. The lower-front fascia has an athletic look with linear elements running through the side ports. Inside, you will be introduced to the innovative Hyperscreen. This digital display screen encompasses the length of the dashboard. It includes separate areas for the central display cluster, driver’s, and passenger-side. The central console also has a futuristic design with flush gear selection buttons.
Premium leather material with a quilted pattern covers the contoured seats. In some or all trims, you can enjoy massaging and climate-controlled front seats, the MBUX system, assistive safety tech, the Drive Pilot automated driving system, Super Cruise adaptive cruise control, an auto climate control system with HEPA air filters, a navigation system, a heated steering wheel, a keyless ignition, a premium sound system with 22 speakers and ambient lighting.
